Northend Hardwoods operates a full service flooring mill in Lyndonville, Vermont. • These solid hardwood floors are milled down from regionally sourced rough lumber.
• Northend Hardwoods can create flooring from specialty and exotic woods: Mahogany, Teak, Wenge, etc.
• Northend also offers softwood, wide plank flooring in Pine, Fir and Cedar.
• Because we create all our floors from rough lumber, we are able to provide hard and softwood flooring in any species that suits your budget.
• The lengths of each of our floorboards start at 4′ and range up to 12′ as compared to 1′ to 6′ lengths of a typical floor from a box store or chain flooring retailer.
• We offer both matched and random width flooring.
• The widths of our finished flooring typically range from 3-5″, but depending on the species of wood you are interested in, we can create flooring with 6-11″ widths.
• We mill a tongue and groove and beveled footing onto each floor board to ensure a stable, uniform installation.
• We offer both milled and pre-sanded flooring.

• Northend Hardwoods floors can last a lifetime (Laminate is designed as throwaway, meant to last less than 20 years)
• Northend Hardwoods flooring can be re-finished (Laminate cannot)

We mill out the following profile onto rough lumber in order to create our flooring. The finished thickness of the milled piece is 3/4″ and the width is variable depending on your choice of species and desired layout.
